EARTHLINGS!
here are the important facts:
0. since i can't remember the email address/password for my old myspace account, go to http://www.myspace.com/makemeanalbum to hear a 30 second sample of.... (see #1)
1. "take my pink slip," the first track for the "make me an album" album, has been completed.
2. currently there are 279 song title submissions. if you want that last spot, number 315, you need to submit. and be lucky.
3. i plan on releasing the cd in the itunes store - but i think i will have to wait until all the songs are completed to do that. in the meantime, i'm going to try to make 30 second samples of the songs so you can whet your appetites and also start beating your chests in anticipation, because that's what people do when they're excited.
4. in order to put a cd in the itunes store, it needs a cover. so, for those of you with artistic inclinations, or those that submitted many titles but just weren't lucky enough to get the magic number, please give me ideas for an album cover. leave them in the comments, send me an email, anything.
5. the next song that will be completed, i think, is "eating shit ain't as much fun as it used to be" (casey peterson, submitter).
6. the twins are 4-2.

ps went to the twins game the other night vs. the yankees....great win, Ortiz was amazing and a great 8th inning rally to give them the win.
